Conjugated linoleic acid (CLA) belongs to the isomers derived from linoleic acid with conjugated double bonds in different position and "trans" geometry. The largest sources of CLA in the diet can be found in the meat of ruminants, in dairy products derived from which fat has not been separated or in different plant seeds.
iO.GENIX we have elaborated this product from safflower oil, from the safflower plant (Carthamus tinctorius) a drought-resistant plant that can be grown in arid and semi-arid areas.
Safflower oil from this plant is rich in linoleic acid, an omega 6 polynsaturated fatty acid that helps maintain normal blood cholesterol levels in the appropriate amounts.
